Real Florida Home Insurance Quotes by ZIP Code

We compared nine carriers for each of these three Florida homes. Explore the prices, deductibles and coverage choices, then let us compare the options for your home.

Start with your property address. We’ll compare available carriers and help you understand the coverage and price.

3 homes · 9 carriers eachQuoted October 16–23, 2026

What do these examples tell us?

We sent the same home details, dwelling limit and deductibles to each carrier. The prices came back differently, and some options handle water coverage differently too. That is why we help you compare the coverage alongside the price.

These are real quotes for the homes and dates shown, not statewide or ZIP-code averages. Your price will depend on your home, coverage and available discounts. We’ll confirm the policy term, fees and final coverage with your personal quote. These examples are for site-built homes, with HO-3 and HO-5 options labeled separately. For a manufactured or mobile home, we’ll help you compare the right type of policy.

We keep each property separate. The homes have different characteristics and limits, so comparing their prices does not isolate the effect of ZIP code.

How we read a quote comparison

  1. 1. Start with the rebuilding limit. We check what the home would cost to rebuild. The purchase price alone does not answer that question.
  2. 2. Put the deductible in dollars. A 2% hurricane deductible on $400,000 of dwelling coverage is $8,000. We discuss what that means for your budget.
  3. 3. Read beyond the headline price. We compare roof settlement, water limits, exclusions, endorsements and other terms in the actual proposals.
  4. 4. Check the full cost and timing. We confirm policy term, fees, effective date and current eligibility before you make a decision.

Where these numbers come from

We selected three homes we quoted in October 2026 through our agency’s QuoteRush comparative rater. Each comparison uses the same property information, dwelling limit and hurricane and all-other-perils deductibles across nine carriers. Together, the examples show 27 carrier comparisons and 35 price, package or policy-form options.

We have kept the quote dates, ZIP codes and key coverage details, while removing customer names, exact addresses and contact information. Each home is one real example, not an average for its ZIP code or a statewide survey.

We highlight water-coverage differences and identify package and HO-3/HO-5 options. The tables are a starting point, not a complete policy comparison. When we quote your home, we’ll explain the full coverage, policy term and fees so you can choose with confidence.

We keep this agency evidence separate from our OIR fixed-scenario research and the county home-insurance guide. Each answers a different question.

We may receive compensation when we place a policy. These selected prices are not a ranking of insurers, a promise of savings or an offer to bind coverage.
